Heritage Open Day is England’s largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,500 organisations,5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers. Every year in September,places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history.It’s your chance to see hidden places and try new experiences-and it’s all FREE.

This event will be held on September 6-9th and 13-16th September 2018 Properties will be open all over England. We will have a display in St Annes Town Hall as usual on 15th September 2018.The National Theme: Extraordinary Women A display will be in the Porritt Room. There will be tours given by the Friends of LSA Art Collection. see the Mayors Parlour and newly refurbished Council Chamber. Helpers on a rota will be appreciated.
